Leading up to the 2018 International Planetarium Society conference in Toulouse, France, Full Circle Visuals was commissioned by the Telus World of Science Edmonton to produce a tourism fulldome show to profile Edmonton as the next host city in 2020.

In October 2017 FCV was brought in to help complete EXO, a film by the Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium in Montreal about searching for life outside the Earth. Sam travelled to Green Bank, West Virginia to get footage of the Green Bank Telescope, the largest steerable radio telescope in the world and captured so spectacular footage of the facility to help complete the film.

In the Summer of 2016, we met with producer Don Hill of Appropriate Entertainment in Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park to create the first chapter in a series called Special Places. Our goal with this ambitious project is to create a virtual reality experience that captures and tells the story of Canadian Indigenous people and their relationship with the sacred land they have inhabited for millennia. It is a story driven by sound and guided by Blackfoot elder Leroy Little Bear that explores a landscape of eerie hoodoos, endless sky and a starfield that’s out of this world.

The film was screened at IMERSA in Denver as well as two other fulldome festivals in Germany and the Czech Republic
